strategies in RAPID MOBILE ARCHITECTURE
toward an URBAN TECTONIC HUNT

ABSTRACT
Cats learn to appreciate the subtleties of Mobile Architecture as rapidly shifting walls serve as devices for entrapment and subsequent neutering.

BACKGROUND
Consider, as a point of departure, Mobile Architecture to be the shifting of any surface for the fluid moulding of spatial environments. Taken to an extreme, we arrive at a level of obfuscation caused by grid-based movement, a Rapid Mobile Architecture (RMA).

Any subject confronted with with the rapid accrual of material (or fluctuation of these impermanent states) on the order of magnitude of habitually immobile architectural barriers may be inclined to deem such shifts in terrain crucial, as indeed, they constitute potential for Extremely Rapid Segregation (ERS).

These operations serve to foreground an imbalance in the control of architecture, utopic models of free urban architectural growth not withstanding. That is to say that RMA may illustrate an oversight in proposals of "Mobile Architecture."

Here, a fax between Yona Friedman and I reiterating this problem. In this instance, the feline population, which multiplies at exorbitant rates, becomes the subject for spatial and temporal cat-mathematics as they are divided into discrete pockets for subsequent spaying and neutering. See enactments of this process.
